Give a wish and prayer for the safety of all those line workers who are fighting mother nature's furry to keep the power on or get it back up during this cold. My heart goes out to them as they've got a very hard job to do right now and the Weather aint helping at all.
Limnophile recently posted about Story Bombing Votes and I have to comment on the idiots who do that. No Liminophile, those folks who vote a 1 and haven't even read the story are not humans nor can they be decent humans. I hate to say it but they may be Ferengi trying to push their fetish of "Vulcan Paedophilic Operas" though I guess only the dieties know for sure if they're Klignons with a perchant for K Pop and Justin Bieber or to me, the worst case is Romulans loving Kim Possible. In all Seriousness, they're not capable of being Decent Humans so it's a waste of time trying to change em. Just fire them out the hatch and hopefully connect with those rotten tomatoes.

For those suffering from the heat, all I can say is keep cool and hydrated as much as possible while avoiding being out in it unless neccessary.
Yes it affects even me but as I live in the desert south west, the temps we've seen so far haven't been extreme though a bit higher then usual so we're better prepared for it but already had some of my friends taken to the hospital due to heat stroke so I know it can be quite bad for others. It's a fact of life that we do not get out of this game alive and we've had another author die that I considered one of my Favorites in Earnest Bywater. All I can do is extend my condolances to his family for their and our loss of someone who made the effort to write interesting and clear stories. He will be missed
Was reminded about the "Night of Madness" by Mushroom and decided to check out the universe. Good start to a new story "Dark Angel" so I'm pleased to find something new to read while waiting for other series to have their next chapter post.
