I am very fortunate. I can read stories over and over again, and then have the pleasure of telling the readers about the story, my likes, and dislikes, not too many, and sometimes some by my favourite authors, such as this one by Rod O'Steele in which our Hero searches diligently for his roots, and his old religion power. He finds his master in a dusty old Bookshop who teaches his apprentice the way of a true Earth Wizard.
That this entails, amongst other things, the taking of a virgin to consummate a Great Spell which he does very well indeed, and so becomes slowly one of the great Wizards of his time.
He then finds and teaches the mother of his child to become a Priestess of the Druids, and guarantees the continuance of the Ancient Gods. And of course live happily ever after.
