Chapter 29 is ready for your reading pleasure. I hope everyone enjoys it.
We have lately stuck with a chapter a week schedule. However, with the holidays and other upcoming events, that may change some. I apologize in advance if that disappoints some. From messages I have received, there are a lot of readers who have enjoyed this tall tale and look forward to the next chapter. For those who are following the adventures of James Mercer, there are perhaps 10 chapters left in this story. There is another James Mercer tale in the works and should be ready by late spring.

For those who have been patiently waiting, Chapter 28 is available. I apologize for it taking so long, but there were a few things I was not happy with in the plot and changed them to better fit in to the scheme of things. Hopefully, the later chapters won't take as long. Enjoy Chapter 28 which I entitled, "A Change in Management and We are Finally Are on Our Way"
Chapter 24 was just posted and should be appearing soon.
James and his people are feeling their way around the Washington DC culture and learning how things work in the Nation's capital. For some, it is an extremely frustrating process.
