Just finished the three Survivor stories by Scotland the brave and was interested in reading similar stories. Any good recommendations?

Vincent Berg had posted one over February / March but he deleted several stories when things went pear-shaped a few days ago and that was one of them.
It was https://storiesonline.net/n/41654/nowhere-like-home and I think the scores it got were not particularly high.
Most of cmsix's stories were along those lines, and most of those were left unfinished.
Lazlong wrote some in his https://storiesonline.net/universe/142/wagons-ho universe but his health fell apart once he'd completed the third story. "Washed Up" was time-travel, the other two had MCs from that era.
I must admit I stopped reading Scotland the Brave's stories after he posted one - deleted years ago - where he took on the Picts. The terms he used to refer to them was have been similar to the terms the Nazis used when referring to the Slavs, starting with "subhuman" and going downhill from there.
You're right. I got many 'attaboys' for writing it, yet the scores dropped significantly over the last several chapters (which several explained due to a mislabeling on my part), but overall, it wasn't a good look. So while several asked about the potential sequel, I ultimately decided it was a losing cause.
It was a great story concept, which was definitely worth exploring, yet I was forced to rewrite the entire STORY six separate times, just making it 'publishable', despite dropping the most impactful story elements.
In all, it wasn't a good look, openly profiling such a low-rated story very few actually bothered finishing. :(
Sometimes, it's best just cutting the line, rather than killing the fish you're unlikely to land either way.
Thanks (you know what you did!), but it will take a day or three for me to get around to it - I'm off sick and have the attention span of an orange at the moment.

His Robledo Mountain series has high scores and the story description matches your request.
I think one of the coolest elements In this story is teaching them how to make hamburgers. So many time travel stories concentrate on making fortunes and creating harems and leave out the smaller things.
Ah, maybe you should request a new story tag for hamburger stories ("Ham" sounds like a promising one, nice short and concise). ;)
Not really very similar at all, but:

Thanks for the suggestions Dinsdale. I've had similar feelings to how other 'groups' were at times referred to in the story, though overall I enjoyed 90% of it.
