I was trying to search for a story mentioned in the Lost story forum.

When I did a search I found this:
The Lost Notebook of Doctor E by Tailweaver

However, if I copy the link ADDRESS, I get this"

When I quick search for Tailweaver, I get a list of stories, but the links go to different stories by different authors. An Author search for Tailweaver says they don't exist.

The Lost Notebook of Doctor E by Tailweaver

That was story 16442 in 2017 until Tailweaver stories where removed on 2025/04/01 (see: https://storiesonline.net/library/my.php?list=rm).

The old story id was then reassigned to a new story on 2025/04/02.

The full text search isn't indexing anymore so it still find the content of the old id but build a link to the new slug.

That said the old slug redirect to the new one instead of warning of a deleted story (removed feature?)
