I was in middle of reading The Outsider's new story and appears he deleted his profile, but anyway when I went to search page https://storiesonline.net/library/authors.php on edge browser it would only allow 10 characters in the search box. There are many author names quite a bit larger than 10 chars.
It's not necessary to type in the whole name of the author, as the search returns a list of authors whose name contains the given search string (ignoring case).
Weirdly, though, the results claim it is just a list of authors whose name start with the search term. However, if you use the search box on the results page, it does restrict the results to those starting withe the given string.

if you check the little check box labeled 'Contain', then it won't be restricted to the starting letters.
I guess I should fix the wording for the results page.
I believe he requested his whole account to be deleted, including stories. Unfortunately that also had the effect of deleting his blog, which contained an explanation (or at least as much as he was comfortable sharing). I guess that means his forum posts have gone too.
ETA I may be wrong about that last part.

I recall seeing forum posts of authors who are no longer on the site when I am doing research into the last time an author contacted the SOL community.
