For those of you who saw my earlier post about something weird happening after I installed a Grammery update, another update showed up this morning which fixed the problem. So, apparently, I wasn't the only one affected because I don't think they would post another update just for little ole me.
On another topic, I'm trying to finish the last chapter of "The Bodyguard" this weekend.
Maybe I should stop posting blog entries and concentrate on writing.
I was hammering away on three stories today (yes, I'm a masochist) when the notification that pops up when Grammarly has been updated appeared, so like a good little boy scout, I let it update. Now, every time I open the "suggestion" panel, behind it I can see the calendar app peeking out. I can't get rid of it. I don't even use that app on my Chromebook, where I write. Grammary still works fine; it's just annoying. Tried getting help from their web page, but no joy.
I spent 30 years as a programmer/analyst, but I retired 15 years ago and I think my skills have retrogressed. Simple things seem to stump me now. Might have something to do with the fact that I will be 80 in a few weeks.
Does anyone know what percentage of SOL users have a premier account? Guess I could ask Lazeez, but I hate to bother him with trivia.
This one focuses on Sandy's friend Megan. One more chapter to come.
Sidebar: As I was putting the last polishing edit on this one, my friend Grammery suggested that I change one occurrence of "Sandy" to "Sally". WTF
