Chapter 23 will be up in the morning. It covers the fun John and Katie have over the weekend of February 8 and 9.

At this point, the story is just over 130,000 words, with what I think is another 15 or so chapters to go on the way to ending the school year it describes. I expect it will end up around 200,000 to 250,000 words. I hope you're enjoying the story. If you ARE enjoying the story, please take a second to vote.

One other note that I've mentioned before: The days and dates in the story match the days and dates of the current calendar and this weekend of September 27 through 29 is described in the latter parts of chapter two in our story. There's a big marching competition and a party after it. John and Katie share their first kiss at the party.

The story sort of parallels the tale "Band Parents" which concerns what John's parents are up to. This same weekend, John's Mom, Lily, discovers her husband, Billy, is having an affair with the Band Parents' organization president, Linda Kowalski. She'd be upset about it, but the description Linda gives of how her husband, Charlie, licked all of Billy's cum out of her after a great fucking turns her on. The two couples get together for their own orgy while John and Katie are at their party.

Have fun reading! I've been seriously working on the story lately, trying to get it finished after starting it almost five years ago.

One more thing: the Band Parents universe is open and public if you have a story that involves the parents of high school band members, please share it in the universe.

I'm slowly going back through earlier chapters of "Band Geek Diary" and cleaning up punctuation, typography and word use to make things more readable. I just reposted Chapter 4: November 8 - 10, which covers John's first sex lesson from his girlfriend's mother.

Also fun to note: If you want to follow the story in "real time," since the calendar for the current school year matches the story's calendar, this weekend would be a great time to read the last part of Chapter 2: September. The weekend of September 27, 28 and 29 is John and Katie's first kiss. It also corresponds to chapters three and four or "Band Parents" so you can see what the parents are up to while the kids are playing music.

It's not all about past writing, though. I'm busily putting together the next couple of chapters and should be posting them before too long. Thanks for your patience as my story that covers nine months will take more than five years to complete.

Sometimes you come across a line from a movie, a book or a song that makes you think you could build a story around it. This morning, I was listening to some old music from Phil Harris (the voice of Ballew in Jungle Book) and heard, "Darling, when you say you love me, why do you roll your eyes?" It reminded me of Writer Mick's standby of the cheating wife saying "I know you do" instead of "I love you, too."

One more idea for the pile, or do any of you want to build your own story around it?

I just submitted another chapter of Band Geek Diary that should show up soon. This time around, John's lesson from his girlfriend's mother covers anal play with tongues and fingers. Enjoy!

All the dates in "Band Geek Diary" line up with this current school year (2019-2020) so it's possible to read things on the day they're supposed to happen. Today, for example, is September 3 and the first part of Chapter 2 in the story. I think it would be a fun way to read (or re-read) the story. I promise to stay ahead of it this time and finish by May.
