Holiday Weekend

Well, here in the States anyway. Although The Yards continue to work. Today you should receive the latest from “The Coach’s Wife” and “A Fair Trade.” For those of you who’ve been beyond kind, supporting me and the website by purchasing them, I thank you. You all rock.

In the former’s sixth chapter, Cindy and Hiram’s secret is thrown wide, setting the stage for increasing tension and uncertainty in them both. As well as Coach. Oh, the twists and turns ahead.

Meanwhile, in Chapter 32 of “A Fair Trade,” Kyle has little energy to absorb Haley’s revelations. And even less time as his mother goes into labor and his parents must rush to the desert. But what to do with Kyle? He has an idea.

And Chapter 18 of “The Immortal” is headed your way. With Mandy away, Jim spends some quality cabin time with Susan and Desi.

As we roll once more into the back half of another year, I’m again reflecting. It’s been a good, if fast, year and I’m still polishing a slew of fresh stories. Since SOL doesn’t really work for shorter works, they’ll be heading for Bookapy. So, stay tuned for notifications and brief descriptions here should you choose to read them.

Hugs and wishes for a safe and wondrous holiday to all who’ve provided such wonderful comments and feedback. As I’ve said many times, I’m here to share my words and I’m ever so grateful so many of you are enjoying them.

Summer Once More

Although there’s lots of travel ahead of me, most everything continues in The Yards. I’ve been hard at work polishing several tales heading to Bookapy. Besides a pair of short story anthologies, a novella and two short stories are making their way through my processes. Plus, another novella and “Aiden Ascending” are next in line for edits.

In the meantime, both the “The Coach’s Wife” and “A Fair Trade” will continue heading your way here on SOL. In the former’s fifth chapter, Cindy admits to deeper feelings and Hiram makes a decision that changes their trajectory forever. While in Chapter 31 of “A Fair Trade,” Kyle continues to struggle with his growing weakness and more of Haley’s revelations.

All in all, 2023 continues to be a productive year for writing. Indeed, the muses remain just as busy, tossing ever more ideas into my head. Hence, bourbon and coffee remain in high demand. Again, thank you for all your kind support.

While I don’t usually track such things, a reader noted “The Coach’s Wife” is number one in Bookapy’s Erotica category. Thank you all for your support of my latest novel. It’s another dark romantic twist on a mélange of niches, tropes, and kinks. And it seems purchasers are enjoying it. The fourth chapter will be posted today. Ramifications continue, and secrets unfurl as Coach invites Hiram to spend a sunny afternoon with his wife.

You’ll also receive Chapter 30 of “A Fair Trade.” Although Kyle weakens and Hayley’s shocking revelations continue, he uncovers a new person in need.

And I managed to get Chapter 17 of “The Immortal” finished as well. Still at Mt. Aristeia, Jim invites Mandy and Charles to go stargazing. But the universe has a vote, and another of Mandy’s boundaries is uncovered. And crossed. Since Chapters 18-20 are in various stages of editing after being updated, you should see them over the coming months. 21+ still need work, but I won’t give up on Jim.

Greetings from the sunny, Canadian smoke-shrouded Yards. Today you’ll receive Chapter 29 of “A Fair Trade.” While Beth has slipped from his grasp, Haley shares more—perhaps too much—with Kyle.

The third chapter of “The Coach’s Wife” will also be posted. With their initial encounter winding down, unexpected emotions explode within the confused Hiram and Mrs. Jenkins.

Unfortunately, I had a bit of a delay with Chapter 17 of “The Immortal.” It was one of those requiring a good deal more work. However, I plan on getting that to you with next Saturday’s releases. The following chapters are underway, but also needed a lot of pruning, adjusting, and copious amounts of harsh editing.

Thanks to all of you who’ve been so gracious, supporting the site and me by purchasing “A Fair Trade” and “The Coach’s Wife.” And to those of you who’ve emailed me with feedback—wow. Thank you. It’s what keeps me sharing.

June Already!

And just as I’m getting my home repainted, the heat has arrived. However, I’ve completed several shorter stories and editing passes on older tales. 2023 is flying!

Today, Chapter 28 of “A Fair Trade” will come your way. Almost perfect timing. Kyle and his mother engage in some risqué Memorial Day barbecue antics.

Also, the second chapter of “The Coach’s Wife” will release. As the encounter in the woods continues, hints of unexpected emotions surface between Hiram and Mrs. Jenkins.

And the next chapter of “The Immortal” has clambered from The Yards. Its update/editing is complete at last. Chapter 16 has Jim and Kali reuniting. Once again, the Baron’s stirring up trouble. I’m processing future chapters, so never fear, Jim’s tale continues.

Both “A Fair Trade” and “The Coach’s Wife,” along with my other works, are available on Bookapy. Thanks to all of you who’ve been so gracious, supporting the site and offsetting my bourbon and coffee costs. And again, my gratitude to those who continue to provide useful feedback and support.
